In this article, we will explore the importance of effective demonstrations in eLearning courses and how they contribute to a rich and impactful learning experience.
I created my eLearning course through 360Learning. It is a cutting-edge eLearning platform that revolutionizes the way organizations deliver training and provide continuous learning opportunities. With its user-friendly interface, 360Learning empowers businesses to create and distribute interactive courses easily. The platform’s collaborative features enable seamless teamwork and knowledge sharing, fostering an engaging learning environment. Learners can access courses anytime, anywhere, on any device, ensuring flexibility and convenience.
Every LMS has different tools to design and prepare their eLearning courses. On my current job. I used Kirk’s Patrick approach where an online test within the course happens in the beginning to measure the basic knowledge of a learner and at the end of the course to measure the understanding of the course. Additionally, it will measure the knowledge as well gained by the learner.
With regards to the Twitter poll, I did my poll on Twitter as an assignment but in the field of my profession in learning and development, we don’t use external platforms instead we use an after-course survey or review which you can see here in every part of the learning resources. This is most likely a poll alternative where every user has to vote alike. It will also help us understand how we can enhance more just in case negative feedback is received.
Badge for Completing the course:
The platform I am using won’t give you a badge when you complete this course instantly. But it will add a point to the badge data. For example, you will need 10 courses to complete before you get the Badge of Scholar and so on. In general, badges are automatically awarded once you reach the required amount of activities.
Most of the courses I design and create include an interaction activity for the learner to write something about or elaborate more information about their learning. Their answers are published once they met the criteria or rubrics for other learners can interact with.
To take it further activity: Every course I created has a course takeaway knowledge as a summary that each learner can download and read offline. This may help them on the post-assessment part of the course for better understanding.
